Franchisees are compensated directly by the facilities per move in, much like the real estate industry. Franchisees are compensated directly by facility per move in and receive a referral fee based on a percentage of the monthly cost. Average referral is 70% of first month’s rent but can be as high as 100% based on the contractual agreement between franchisee and facility. The cost could range from $1,000 - $10,000 per month.
